Sitting
and Ordering Requirements
Ordering
The Studio is located in Elizabethtown, NC. You
will be required to make 2 trips minimum to the
studio - one to shoot the portraits, and one to
place your order.
There
are very good reasons why you should select your
photo here.
I
am the expert you are paying to create your
images.
You
will be better served if I show you the
portraits on a n 80-inch projection screen and
discuss cropping, retouching and answer your
questions while we look at your photos. You are
not familiar with digital enhancements and may
not know that a problem photo can be turned into
a winning portrait.
For some of you this will be a once-in a
lifetime portrait session and it's very
important to both of us. This is my business and
income and the money you spend is very important
to you as well as your satisfaction with the end
result.
The
digital previews will be ready in 24-48 hrs.
Although digital sounds instantaneous, the raw
shooting files have to developed into finished
digital files. I then correct the color and
cropping to make a presentable preview for
projection. So... it take time to do a quality job
even with digital. The digital system does allow me
to do retouching that was out of the question a
year ago. (fix teeth, whiten teeth, fix straps,
remove hair clips, change color of lipstick, &
change the tint of glasses. I also do special
enhancements that I can't disclose.

f
you live more than 3 hrs. away, you should consider
spending the night and viewing your portraits the
next day.
If
you insist that you can not return, there is an
upcharge of $300 that you pay at the time of your
sitting that will cover the cost of making previews
and lost sales. This does not include any prints;
howeve if you orer more than $800 the upcharge will
be applied.
Be
prepared to order!!! Think about where you will
hang portraits, bring decision makers with you.
Your files are available for re-ordering for 3
months. You must order within 30 days of your
sitting.
Hair
and Make-up
If you are having photogenics for competition
or head shots for any professional use, you are
required to use the studio hair and make-up
artist.
If
you are having crown portraits done, you can do
your own hair and make-up or bring your stylist
with you.
Portrait
Pick-up
Small portraits, 8x10 and smaller, can be
mailed without problems. I have had many problems
mailing large portraits. If you can't return, I can
ship with proper insurance. You will be responsible
for dealing with the USPS for damages. They
ususally do a good job but... a slightly damaged
portrait is useless to you.
